There’s no better way to ring in 2016 than to join the Recreation Department’s 1st annual New Year’s Eve Celebration. You won’t have to worry about sleeping through the fun at night, come celebrate with us during the day.
Our event includes: Mad Science “Fire & Ice Show and then a “countdown to midnight” at noon with a glittering ball drop, ginger ale toast, light refreshments and noisemakers. Guests can create their own colorful party hats and share their New Year wishes.

FIRE & ICE SHOW: Our Mad Scientist starts with a magic trick that makes a card disappear and magically reappear. Heat & chemicals combine with an “aaahsome” result. Finally in the ice portion of this event we will amaze the kids with exciting experiments using frozen carbon dioxide gas at -109 degrees F.
